SynCT Limited joins the TelcoBridges Media Gateway Partner Program
2010/11/17
MONTREAL, November 16th, 2010 – TelcoBridges Inc., a leading provider of enabling technologies for telecom network convergence, value-added services development, and network performance management, proudly announced today that UK based SynCT Limited, a provider of Contact Centre, IP-PBX, Conferencing, and SMS Gateway orientated solutions, has joined TelcoBridges’ Media Gateway Partner Program. Launched by TelcoBridges in early 2010, the Media Gateway Partner Program provides member partners with access to enhanced channel pricing, new sales and training tools, and extensive product collateral that enable those same partners to easily market, sell and support converged network solutions based on TelcoBridges’ Tmedia™ family of VOIP gateways.
“Having been an active part of the migration from traditional telephony to VOIP for many years, I have witnessed the growing requirement for flexible, efficient and truly scalable media gateways.” said Jon Cowell, Managing Director of SynCT Limited. “I see the TelcoBridges Tmedia family offering a truly telco grade solution to these needs”.
“SynCT is an organisation with which TelcoBridges has worked for some time. They know TDM and VOIP technologies well and are able to propose true business enhancing solutions through an innate understanding of both the technical and commercial requirements of their customers.” said Daniel Paradis, Vice President, Global Sales at TelcoBridges. “Our Tmedia VOIP gateways support SynCT in its drive to offer such best of breed solutions to its customers.”
The Tmedia family of VOIP gateways offer connectivity options ranging from 1-1024 T1/E1/J1, 1-48 DS-3 or 1-16 STM-1 interfaces, scaling to over 32,000 universal voice channels in a single system. Recognized for their high density and energy efficiency, Tmedia VOIP gateways provide support extensive support for signaling protocols—SS7, ISDN, CAS R2, SIGTRAN, SIP, and H.248 can all be run concurrently—and media handling—including T.38 fax relay and v.34 fax transmission—in a single device, enabling Tmedia VOIP gateways to perform the work of multiple devices while using the power, cooling and rack space of just one. This results in energy savings of up to 2/3rds when compared with competing products.
